International Museum Day

These days, the National Gallery of Armenia, like other museums, is open to everyone. Also, a number of events are held in various museums of the country, in particular, new works of Armenian artists are presented to visitors as part of the Night of Museums festival.

The Night of Museums is an international festival, first approved by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. During the festival, Western museums are open all night. Armenian museums joined this initiative in 2005. It should also be noted that the event is aimed at attracting new visitors to the museum halls, primarily young people. (IA Regnum - regnum.ru)
