Northern Armenia: the connection of times

Hello, my name is Grachya, I am a historian and professional guide, I organize car tours and walking tours in 3 northern regions of Armenia: Lori, Tavush and Shirak. We usually start the tour from Vanadzor, the third largest city in Armenia, but if necessary, I can arrange a transfer from Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri or other cities of Armenia and organize a tour of the 6 local Honda Elysion minivan. You can choose from 3 excursions, and if you wish, I can organize a 3-day tour so that you have the opportunity to see all the interesting places of Northern Armenia.

1. Debed Gorge. Debed Gorge is located in Lori region, during the excursion you can see the fabulous nature of Northern Armenia with its mountains, valleys and historical places. Among the historical and spiritual places you can see the monastery complexes of Haghpat and Sanahin included in the UNESCO list, the largest single-span bridge in Armenia, the temple of Odzun VI century, the monasteries of Oromayr, Kobayr, one of the largest caves in Armenia.

2. Tavush region. During the tour of the Tavush region you will have the opportunity to see interesting corners of the famous city of Dilijan, hidden in the mountains of the monasteries of Agartsin and Gosh, as well as the forest beauty of Lake Parz.

3. Shirak region. In Shirak region we will see the famous monastery of Arichavank, the beautiful city of Gyumri, the northern capital of Armenia, the old district of Gyumri and the city center, the Gegasar cave complex, the Black Fortress.
