Description:
What awaits you
The road to Gyumri will take about two hours. During this time we will immerse you in the history and culture of Armenia.
Our route.
- Vardanants Square, the “Seven-Run” Church, or the Church of the Seven Runs. So the Gyumrians call the Church of the Holy Mother of God, where there is a “Seven-arrow” icon, according to legend, written by the evangelist Luke.
- Good morning building. It got its nickname because of the ornament element, which resembles a mirror with a towel.
- Kostanov bath. It is a unique combination of Eastern and Western architecture.
- Villa "Kars" - the only house in the city, completely built in the Art Nouveau style
- The first pedestrian street in the USSR and one of the first in Europe
- Church of St. The Savior is a symbol of Gyumri bluster. Why? You will know this when you walk.
- Black Fort. The history of Gyumri since the second half of the 19th century is closely connected with the Russian Empire, and then with the USSR. The Black Fort is one example of this connection, and you’ll see why.
