Khor Virap Monastery is located in the Ararat region and is the birthplace of Christianity in Armenia. In ancient times, this was a prison where St. Gregory the Illuminator, the founder of Christianity in Armenia, was imprisoned for 13 years. After its liberation and the adoption of Christianity in Armenia (the first in the world in 301), a monastery complex was built there, which you can explore and immerse yourself in the history, architecture and culture of ancient Armenia. Also, Khor Virap is the closest point to the legendary Mount Ararat, where you will have a fabulous view of the Biblical Mountain, and where you will have a great opportunity to take memorable photographs.

Situated on the Arpa River, the city of Jermuk since the times of the USSR was considered the main health center of Armenia, famous for its mud baths, thermal springs and reservoirs. A little further from the city there is a waterfall beloved by all tourists, where you can climb and take fabulous photos as a souvenir. In the city you will have the opportunity to walk in the fresh air, taste the legendary Armenian cuisine and taste the best mineral water in the Republic.

Organizational details:
1. The tour starts (10:00) and ends at the Marriott Hotel in Republic Square.
2. Dear guests, please note that this is a group tour and in the case of a group not recruited, the tour will either be postponed to another day, or the program will be reduced or completely canceled.
3. Minimum acceptance period of orders is 7 days.
4. The tour is conducted only in Russian.
5. Please keep in mind that the group tour has its own fixed start, site inspection and general program (but we will try to be as flexible as possible on your requests).
6. The tour will be conducted by my employee (guide driver) in the second comfortable minivan.
