Journey to the green Dilijan

The tour begins at 10:30 near the Marriott Hotel in Republic Square.

1st

Dilijan is one of the resort and favorite tourist cities of Armenia. Located in the region of Tavush, in the valley of the river Agstev and surrounded by amazing forests and clean air. The way to the city passes through a tunnel, at the beginning of which you will see one nature, and at the end you will see a completely different, fabulous nature. There we will explore the famous monument of Mimino, the swan lake and, of course, the world famous pre-university college UWC.

2nd

Agartsin Monastery is located about 20 km from Dilijan, inside the majestic forests, surrounded by the Ijevan ridge. On every meter of our fabulous road there are gazebos, where many tourists stop for a picnic, and the locals prepare a barbecue. The monastery complex was built in the 11th century and is an excellent example of ancient Armenian architecture. And at the end of the Monastery you will see the legendary walnut tree, which is more than 1000 years old, near which you will have a great opportunity to take beautiful photos for memory.

3rd

After the Hagartsin Monastery, we will go to the last attraction of our tour Goshavank Monastery, which is located about 15 km from Hagartsin, in the village of the same name. The monastery complex was built in 1188 by Mkhitar Ghosh (and named after him), the great ancient Armenian philosopher and historian who created the first Armenian judicial code (the code of laws of the feudal system). In ancient times, Goshavank was famous for its seminary and university, where prominent Armenian historians, philosophers and cultural figures studied. In this beautiful architectural complex you will have a good opportunity to inspect the ancient structure, take a walk in the fresh air and make a beautiful photographer for memory.

1. The tour starts (10:30) and ends at the Marriott Hotel in Republic Square.
2. Dear guests, please note that this is a group tour and in the case of a group not recruited, the tour will either be postponed to another day, or the program will be reduced or completely canceled.
3. Minimum acceptance period of orders is 7 days.
4. The tour is conducted only in Russian.
5. Please keep in mind that the group tour has its own fixed start, site inspection and general program (but we will try to be as flexible as possible on your requests).
6. The tour will be conducted by my employee (guide driver) in the second comfortable minivan.
