In Gyumri with Armenian wine

The tour begins at 09:45 near the Marriott Hotel in Republic Square.

1st

At the beginning of our tour we will go to one of the best wineries in Armenia, Armenia Vine, which was built in 2008 and is now one of the largest producers and exporters of quality wine. With their own laboratory, about 300 people each day, using amazing varieties of Armenian and French grapes, work to perfect and create wine of high quality and taste. The beautiful factory, built entirely of red tuff, is located near the town of Ashtarak, in the small village of Sasunik, 15 km from Yerevan. Inside the factory (which receives more than 10,000 tourists every year), you will have the opportunity to see the majestic halls and cellars, taste the best wines of Armenia, and visit an interesting museum if you wish.

Next, we will head to the Voskevaz plant, which means “Golden Vine”, which is located in the small village of the same name, in the mountainous region of Aragatsotn, on the landscape of the majestic Aragats mountain. The plant was founded in 1932 and has maintained its quality standard in the Armenian market for almost a century. The fabulous building of the plant resembles the castle, which was restored in 2004, and is now overhauled every year for tourists and wine lovers. Voskevaz plant uses only Armenian grape varieties for its products and is a pioneer in the creation of dessert wines in Armenia. In the tour package, you will not only have a walk around the centuries-old castle, but also an interesting history of the plant and winemaking, during the tasting of the national Armenian wine.

Upon completion of unforgettable tastings, we will go to the famous, second largest city - Gyumri. One of the most ancient settlements of Armenia, famous for its unique architecture, square, monuments at every step and of course the old city, which we will explore. After a colorful Armenian dinner, we will visit other main attractions of Gyumri, the majestic monument Mother Armenia and the powerful Black Fortress, where I will tell you about a part of the architecture that has the form of a monument to the Greek goddess of revenge Nemesis, about how the Black Fortress protected the western borders of Armenia, not allowing enemies to even think about an attack from this direction and many other interesting facts from history.

2. Dear guests, please note that this is a group tour and in the case of a group not recruited, the tour will either be postponed to another day, or the program will be reduced or completely canceled.
3. Minimum acceptance period of orders is 7 days.
4. The tour is conducted only in Russian.
5. Please keep in mind that the group tour has its own fixed start, site inspection and general program (but we will try to be as flexible as possible on your requests).
6. The tour will be conducted by my employee (guide driver) in the second comfortable minivan.
