Mount Arailer is located in
30 kilometers north of Yerevan.
We leave Yerevan at 9:00 and go to the village of Zoravan, the route begins from the village, at an altitude of 1470 m, the slopes are quite gentle, the distance to the top is 8 km. At the top will be approximately 13:00 to 15:00, depending on the presence, thickness and condition of the snow cover. Lunch is on top. The descent lasts about 2-3 hours. Back to Yerevan.
In winter, you need waterproof trekking shoes, hammashes. From May to October, you can climb in sneakers. Seasonal clothes. You need to take a windbreaker, knitted hat, baseball cap or Panama, sunglasses, sunscreen, trekking sticks, sandwiches, tea in a thermos, water.
