Aragat volcano

To get to one of the most popular volcanoes in Armenia - Aragats, you need to start your journey from the famous Lake Kari. The way from there will lead you to the southern peak of Aragats. If you look at the map, the road will be 6 km, a total of 2 hours.

Climbing Aragats can be quite easy. In a whole day you can climb to the southern top of the volcano. Then you can continue, but you need to take care of the tents in which you will spend the night. After climbing, you need to go down to the saddle and then reach the mark of 3683 m. There you can choose which top you want to keep your way. It is important to remember that the highest peak is the North and the way to it is not the easiest.
