Tourist aggregators named the most profitable visa-free destinations for Russians in 2026. In the leaders in accessibility - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mongolia. Uzbekistan. VietnamPhilippines, Abkhazia, Malaysia and Kazakhstan. On average, living in these countries costs 7-8.5 thousand rubles per day.

The cheapest place to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina is about 7 thousand rubles per night. Mongolia and Uzbekistan are slightly more expensive: the difference is about 500 rubles. In the Philippines, Abkhazia, Malaysia and Kazakhstan, the average cost of accommodation starts from 8 thousand rubles.

For those who are looking for exotic, experts advise to take a closer look at Brazil: over the year, prices for hotels there have decreased markedly - the average cost of a night fell by 28% and is now 10,470 rubles.

Tickets: Where to look for budget flights

Minimum prices for flights are observed in the direction to Belarus: a one-way ticket can be found from 10 thousand rubles (while the country accounts for only 3.1% of air orders). Among other budget routes are Uzbekistan, Armenia and Abkhazia (about 16 thousand rubles one way), a flight to Kazakhstan will cost an average of 22 thousand rubles.

Vice-President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT) Dmitry Gorin connects the general decline in the cost of international travel with the strengthening of the ruble. At the same time, Turkey leads in popularity among Russians, followed by Egypt and Thailand; interest in China and Vietnam is also high, and the demand for trips to the Emirates has fallen noticeably.

How much does a week's rest cost?

According to Dmitry Gorin, a week-long tour for two to Abkhazia starts from 80 thousand rubles, which is about 20% cheaper than a comparable duration of domestic rest. A trip to Egypt will cost from 120 thousand rubles, to Turkey - from 150 thousand rubles. You can relax together in Belarus on the weekend for about 40 thousand rubles: this is facilitated by the developed air and railway communication, as well as the proximity of the country.

The expert advises booking travel in high season (July-August) in advance: in the off-season, profitable offers often appear shortly before the trip.

The role of a private guide: how to make the trip richer and more profitable

In conditions when tourists are increasingly seeking to do without intermediaries and plan their vacation on their own, the services of a private guide are of particular value. Unlike standard excursion programs, a private guide adjusts the route to the interests and pace of travelers, shows non-tourist places and helps avoid typical traps for tourists - from inflated prices for souvenirs to queues in popular locations.

Such services are especially relevant in countries with a rich history and original culture - for example, in Uzbekistan, where many little-known but impressive corners hide behind the facades of famous madrassas and minarets, or in China, where knowledge of local features allows you to competently build logistics between megacities and natural attractions. Private guides often own rare facts about local history, tell legends and household details that turn a trip from a simple sightseeing into a real immersion in the culture of the region. In addition, in some countries (for example, in Vietnam or Mongolia), the help of a local guide helps to navigate the specifics of transport, nutrition and etiquette, which significantly saves time and nerves.

Demand trends and new opportunities

Armenia has become the absolute leader in the share of foreign air orders, accounting for 14.3%. At the same time, the total demand for tours is now 0.6% lower than in the same period of 2025. In 2026, interest in Vietnam (the number of applications increased by 3.6 times) and China (by 2 times); demand for Egypt rose by 31%, for Turkey by 14%, for Abkhazia by 7%.

The average duration of tours has decreased from 8 to 7 nights, and booking depth has decreased by almost 12% - now it is about a month and a week.

Why interest in China is growing

After the introduction of the visa-free regime, the flow of tourists to China has significantly increased, notes Yegor Kail, head of Visantium visa agency and PCT expert. Previously, obtaining a visa required collecting a large package of documents and took a lot of time - for some travelers, this became a decisive factor in choosing another destination. Now the country has become much more accessible, and a variety of formats of recreation (cultural, historical, natural, gastronomic and business tourism) allows for one trip to get a lot of impressions.

Another important trend is that Russians are increasingly planning to travel independently, trying to find more profitable options and do without intermediaries. This reflects the general fatigue of bureaucracy and the desire to save time in the fast pace of life. With this approach, the services of a private guide become a kind of “golden mean”: they give freedom and flexibility of independent travel, while maintaining expert support and deep immersion in the region – which is especially valuable for those who are close to the ideas of meaningful tourism and local history.
