The first cathedral mosque of Ufa
It is one of the main Muslim mosques of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ufa.
The mosque was built in 1830 near Sluchev Mountain on the initiative of the Mufti of the Orenburg Mohammedan Spiritual Assembly Habdessalam Gabdrakhimov. The construction was financed by voluntary donations of the Ufa merchant of the 1st Guild M. Tagirov (Khazmitev).
Salavat Yulaev Garden
This peaceful garden is located in the historical center of Ufa, between the streets of Salavat and the Embankment of the White River. It was opened in the summer of 1900 and was originally called the “Garden on Sluchev Mountain”. By the opening of the garden, cast-iron gates, two gazebos were installed, paths were laid and a descent to the river was created. Trees were planted in the garden. In different years, the garden changed its name, alternately bearing the names of the governor N. Bogdanovich, the revolutionary E. Sazonov and N. Krupskaya killed by the SRs.
In 1956, a hanging bridge across the ravine was built in the garden, which became the main attraction. Newlyweds often come here to seal their union with hinged locks with the names of the newlyweds. In the middle of the 20th century, another gazebo was built, which was later dismantled and replaced by others, stylized as antique photographs.
The Seven Girls Fountain
Fountain "Seven Girls": opened in June 2015 in the Theatre Square, this fountain is the largest in Bashkiria. Its author is the famous sculptor Hanif Khabibrakhmanov.
