I will meet you at the hotel and by comfortable car we will go to the valley of the Yarra River, located 50 kilometers from the center of Melbourne. There are about 80 wineries in the valley, about half of them have their own tasting rooms. The main varieties of grapes grown are Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Shiraz.
We'll stop for lunch at one of the wineries. In local shops you can buy your favorite wines and products of local farmers.
At the end of the trip, I'll take you back to the hotel.
The program of this day, from November to April, can be expanded with a trip to the famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island.
