Excursion "Old gold mine Sovereign Hill" in the city of Ballarat from Melbourne
Description:
You will be waiting for gold washing, descent into the mine, stagecoaching, operating workshops and mechanisms of the 19th century, costume shows and the gold museum.
I will meet you at the hotel and in a comfortable car we will go to Ballarat, located 140 kilometers from Melbourne.
I can promise you that you will be in a gold rush all day long. In the capital of the “golden fields” of Australia – the city of Ballarat, we will visit the mine – the open-air museum Sovereign Hill (Sovereign Hill) and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the gold-bearing 50s of the 19th century.
A tour of Sovereign Hill includes a descent into the mine, a visit to the gold museum, you can participate in the work of a candle factory, a candy factory, ride in an ancient stagecoach, play ancient bowling and caraball, shop in the shops of the city of gold prospectors and, of course, try the luck of a digger: wash gold in the stream. There you can dine in the traditional 19th century cafe and participate in the traditional English tea party in Devonshire.
On the way back, we will help you to visit the park of Australian animals, where you will see kangaroos, koalas, wombats and many other representatives of the fauna of the Green Continent. After the tour, I'll take you to the hotel.
