Albert Park
Description:
The most beautiful circuit Albert Park is located in Melbourne. It was created in 1996 specifically for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. At the same time, the track itself was built in 1953, but was subsequently seriously reconstructed.
The construction of Albert Park almost failed due to the invasion of “Greenpeace”, who believe that the damage from the exhaust gases of sports cars will cause irreparable harm to the environment. But despite all the protests, the track was built and for the next ten years invariably hosted the world Grand Prix, only in 2006 ceded this right to Bahrain.
The record for Albert Park was set by Sebastian Vettel in 2011 at 1:23.529.
