Esterhazi Park
Fritz-Grunbaum-Platz 1, Wien, Austria
Description:
Esterhazy Park is considered the most beautiful park in Europe and is located next to the castle of the same name, which has 200 rooms and 6 huge halls. It was created in the XVIII century in the Baroque style, complementing the style of the palace. Already in the next century, it was rebuilt in the English manner, which gave it more colorful and cozy.
On the hottest days in the Esterhazi Park gathers not only a lot of tourists, but also a lot of locals. Here everyone can relax on shady benches, breathe fresh, clean air and enjoy the charming nature. The park is lined with green bushes, bright flowers and sloping trees.
Also, walking along neatly paved alleys, you can find the temple of Princess Leopoldina hidden in the shade of trees. Inside it is a statue of her, on which the talented sculptor Antonio Canova worked. In addition, the park houses several elegant fountains, graceful statues and bright greenhouses.
