About the company:
The Ephesos Museum presents tourists with a huge collection of exhibits belonging to the era of Ancient Greece. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by an impressive collection of ruins. The Armory also deserves the attention of tourists, while its most interesting exhibits are ancient shields and armor.
In particular, the museum presents exhibits from the ancient city of Ephesus, which was located on the territory of modern Turkey. The collection of the museum was formed for a long time, starting from the 19th century. Before the establishment of the museum, the collection of artifacts was displayed in various traveling exhibitions, until it finally found a permanent place in 1978.
Among the most notable exhibits of the museum are a bronze statue of an athlete, an Amazon statue, trophies from Asia Minor, a gallery in the Neo-Greek style, a Parfin frieze (40 meters), fragments of the sanctuary of Artemis, the Octagon (funeral structure, 2 half of the first century AD), as well as a model of the ancient Ephesus 1:1'500.
