Essla Museum
An der Donau-Au 1, Klosterneuburg, Austria
About the company:
Klosterneuburg is a lovely town in the vicinity of Vienna and also the cradle of Austrian history. The city is associated with the name of Leopold III Babenberg, according to the legend of the founder of the Augustinian monastery. Among the attractions of this small provincial town is the Essel Collection, an art gallery located in a modern building. It features works by contemporary Austrian and foreign artists.
The Gallery or Museum of Modern Art, as it is also called, was founded by Agnes and Karl-Heinz Essl, who are now owners and collectors of the museum. From Vienna from Tuesday to Saturday runs a large comfortable bus with the image of one of the paintings of the museum “Night, when the mice squeak”, which takes tourists to the museum for free.
