St. Mary's Church in Brussels

Rue Royale, Brussels, Belgium

Description:

The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the nineteenth century, in 1845-1885, in the capital of Belgium - the city of Brussels. It is quite difficult to find this church, as it is far from the center, in the old historical part of the city, on Rue Royale Street. It is located in the Muslim quarter of the city.

This church can be seen from afar, because it is much higher than the buildings that surround it. The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the only building in Brussels that allows you to see the New Byzantine style firsthand.

Today, there are no services in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Every year it attracts many tourists and locals, being a bright monument of history and architecture.
