Constant Vanden Stock Stadium

Avenue Theo Verbeeck 2, Anderlecht, Belgium

Description:

The Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, located in the Belgian city of Anderlecht, was built in 1917, originally consisting of one wooden grandstand and was called the Emil Verce Stadium, in honor of the founder. The capacity of the four stands currently exceeds 26,000 spectators.

The stadium, renovated in 1983, is played by the local football club Anderlecht, whose president is now named after the stadium. The size of the playing field with a natural grass surface equipped with a heating system is 105 by 68 meters.

Currently, work is underway at the stadium with the sponsorship of Fortis Bank to increase the capacity. After the reconstruction, the stadium will be renamed in honor of this bank. The stadium has a restaurant and a cafeteria, as well as a fan shop of the Anderlecht team.
