On the night of July 1, groups of young people flock to the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria from all over the country, who spend the night in the open air (usually on the beach) and meet the first rays of the rising sun with music, songs and dances. The connection of this modern holiday with the hippie movement of the late 60s - early 70s is transparent.

The name itself is taken from the legendary song July morning, which is played on the radio and on television.
