Plovdiv Fair

Entrance to the fair townThe first industrial and agricultural fair in Bulgaria was held in 1892 in Plovdiv. Since then, the city of Plovdiv began to be associated primarily with this fair, which over time turned into an international one.

Since some time it has been held in Plovdiv twice a year - in early May (in 2006 from 8 to 13 May) and in late September (in 2006 from 25 to 30 September). In May, the Consumer Goods and Technology Fair (the latest news in the light and food industries) is held, and in September, the Technical Fair of Industrial Technologies and Machinery is held.

Within the framework of these two annual fairs in Plovdiv, specialized exhibitions, promotions of new products and technologies, commercial forums and meetings are held, contracts are concluded. The Plovdiv Fair is a real window into the world for the Bulgarian economy - it stimulates the interest of foreign firms in Bulgaria and at the same time helps Bulgarian companies find sales abroad.

The fair town in Plovdiv is located on 360,000 square meters. It has 24 multifunctional exhibition chambers, which have everything you need to show any goods, technologies and machines. The exhibition area is 95,000 square meters, of which 60,000 square meters are covered. The town has a modern international conference center with 8 equipped halls (in some rooms there are 11 more halls). The total number of seats exceeds 2000.

In terms of the quality of services provided, Plovdiv Fair is one of the most reputable fairs in Europe. Since 1936 she has been a member of the UFI (International Association of the Exhibition Industry).
