It is located in the central square of G. Bansko, near the city hall

About the company:

Nikola Vaptsarov Museum is a cultural monument, a place where people come to honor the memory of the famous Bulgarian poet who died in the fight against fascism at the age of 33. The poet’s poems have been translated into 50 languages. Vaptsarov was the only Bulgarian to be awarded the International Peace Prize posthumously in 1952.

Today, the museum house presents personal belongings and family photos of the young poet, the first published manuscripts, costumes, documents, watches, etc. The furnishings of Nikola’s working room were restored as accurately as possible (three reconstructions of the museum were carried out in 1960, 1979 and 1992). In addition to the main exposition, the museum has 2 halls for 40 seats, where you can listen to the poems of the poet. There are also lectures in French, English and Russian.
