Maarat or Krushun Falls

Maarat or Krushun waterfalls is the largest water cascade in Bulgaria, with the formation of rapids and pools. Since 1995, Marata has been a protected natural landmark. This place is popular among tourists, because there are fascinating views of waterfalls, lakes, cave formations and rich vegetation. This place is located in the Lovech region, on the territory of the village of Krushuna. Here was built a tourist route, which consists of trails, bridges, steps, thanks to which this magnificent natural attraction became available for viewing.

In addition to waterfalls in this area, you can see the "Bonninska Cave", in which there is an underground lake, Devetak Cave, in which the largest underground "hall" in Europe is located, as well as the Vrannitsa abyss.
