On the small square of Slaveikov, which can not claim to be an outstanding landmark of Sofia, but quite popular with tourists, a monument to the father and son of the Slaveikovs, Bulgaria's favorite poets, is installed.
The monument is made in a rather interesting way. On the bench sit two men in old-fashioned clothes with canes in their hands. At the same time, there is a feeling that they invite to sit down on a free place, walking past living people.
Directly opposite the monument are bookstores, shops and a market in which, it seems, you can find literary works of all writers of the world. Perhaps that is why there are so many tourists in the square.
On weekends, musicians who arrange concerts and artists who draw portraits and caricatures for everyone gather near the monument.
