Sofia Arsenal - Museum of Modern Art

Sofia Arsenal Museum of Modern Art, or SAMCA, is one of the newest museums in the Bulgarian capital. It is located in an old building, erected in 1908, as part of the Armory Town. In 2011, a renovation process began that transformed the building from an abandoned military office into a living museum and an attractive modern gallery. Although repairs are ongoing in some parts, the museum is open to visitors.

Here are the works of contemporary artists from all over the European Union: paintings, films, sculptures, books, photographs and much more. Some exhibits are exhibited in the museum garden.
