Honey Island
two hours from Paranagua, or Pontal do Sul, Brazil
Description:
A curved island off the coast of Brazil is a deserted place devoid of civilization. That's what makes it beautiful. There are no cars, roads, often electricity and other benefits of a comfortable life. There is only the sea, the sun, the madness of wild beaches and everything that nature can give to man.
Life on the island is simple and cleansed of false values. Here it is very good to wander through the white endless sands of a long beach, walk in the bushy shadow of the jungle and enjoy the ever-moving ocean. The presence of a man on the island is reminiscent of the remains of an 18th century fortress built to protect against British pirates. And some very primitive hotels.
You can only reach the island by sea. It is a quiet and beautiful place, but tourist access is limited.
