Zhau National Eco-Park
Description:
Zhau National Eco-Park is located and opened in 1980 by the river basin of the same name. The park includes the territories of the natural ecosystems of the Amazon, and it is the morphology of the relief that determined the nature of the fauna and flora of the park.
The rich diversity of the fauna of Zhau is also associated with “black rivers”, which are usually deeper, and the water in them is shaded with a dark color due to the remains of decaying plants. On one hectare of forest of ecological park you can find more than 150 species of plants. Among all the diversity of flora in Zhau you can see palm trees, ficuses, Pau Brasil tree, cocoa, ploughs, bananas, pineapples, ferns, as well as the famous Dairy tree, known for its sweet taste juice, which can be eaten.
The ecological park is amazing not only the diversity of vegetation, but also the density of low tiers - shrubs and trees are intertwined with air roots and lianas, and almost everywhere there are huge and bright flowers, among which orchids stand out.
