Santuario Falls

Valley of Waterfalls, Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil

Description:

Santuario is an ecological waterfall, recognized as a private natural heritage, where nature appears in all its pristine splendor.

Santuario Falls is one of many waterfalls of the Amazon basin formed after the retreat of the ancient sea. It consists of three streams, the highest is 15 meters. Falling from the mountain ledges, the water breaks against the rocks below, forming clouds of mist and many tiny splashes. In the rays of the bright sun above all this water splendor is a multicolored rainbow. Children and adults are happy to splash in a cool pond where falling water flows. Surrounded by a jungle with large bright flowers, tropical birds fluttering between the trees, Santuario deserves to come here.

You can get to Santuario on the federal highway of very good quality BR-174. It is located 16 kilometers from Presidente Figueiredo and 140 kilometers from the state capital of Manaus.
