About the company:

The Geological Museum, which began its activities in March 2002, is a place where rocks that make up the territory of Brazil are collected and studied. There are more than 10,000 samples of rocks, precious stones, various kinds of fossils. There are real rarities in the collection - for example, fragments of a meteorite found in Brazil in the late 18th century.

In the exhibition halls there are thematic expositions dedicated to rocks, precious stones, mineral resources, paleontological collections and so on. Very interesting room dedicated to energy crystals.

But the museum is not limited to exhibition activities. It works closely with other organizations and provides facilities for a variety of educational and cultural projects.

For visitors, the museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 13 to 18 hours, admission is free.
