Abelardo Rodriguez Museum

The Abelardo Rodriguez Museum was founded in the seventeenth century. The exposition of the museum presents works belonging to sacred art and included in the largest private collection in Brazil.

This collection includes more than 800 items - engravings, paintings, jewelry. During each month of the year, only one third of the collection is exhibited, then the exposition is updated and the next part is exhibited.

This was done because the territory of the museum does not allow residents to show the collection in its entirety. But this move keeps Brazilians and visitors interested in the arts, showing off an updated collection month after month.
