Baya Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Modern Art is located in El Salvador in an ancient manor of the seventeenth century.

The museum was founded in the early 1960s. The museum includes eight exhibition halls, a theater, a library and an art workshop. Here you can see the works of Tarsil do Amaral, Di Cavalcanti, Portinari, Pansetti, Flavio de Carvalho and other creative personalities. Here you can also try to create a work of art.

The Museum of Modern Art is visited annually by about 200,000 people.

Various cultural events in different languages of the world are regularly held here.
