Place Nossa Senhora do Sion

Itanhaem, São Paulo, Brazil

Description:

The square Nossa Senhora do Sion is named after the Romanesque church Nossa Senhora do Sion, which is considered one of the few Romanesque churches on the entire coast of Paulista.

There are many old trees on the square, which shelter tourists with their wide branches from the sultry Brazilian sun. At night, the square becomes even more beautiful, because many blue lights illuminate the church and other buildings.

City transport runs on the square, on which you should definitely ride and see all the main attractions from the window. The stop is right in front of the church, making traffic easier. Also very often there are various events and festivals on the square.
