Baia de Casteljanos is the southern coast of Illabella, famous for its beaches. It is not possible to get here by car, as the road through the real tropical jungle could not be paved. To get to the beach, you need to go on a boat trip around the island.
The main problem of the island is the huge number of mosquitoes that can make the trip unbearable. On the beach, they are much less, but do not forget about insect protection.
Baia de Casteljanos is above all an amazing view of the Atlantic. Not far from the beach is a small rocky island, on top of which there are picturesque palm trees. The beach is perfectly equipped, there are sunbeds, umbrellas, urns, on the adjacent territory there are restaurants, where most often order caipirinho from mandarin leaves and grilled fish.
On the Baya de Casteljanos you can also rent a quad bike and ride along the coastline around the island.
