The beach of Bonete on the southern coast of the island of Illabel is located in a remote area. It can only be reached by boat in windless weather.
Bonete is a treasure of the state of São Paulo. Open to the currents of the Atlantic, the beach is located on the remote southern coast of the island of Illabel. Nearby is only a small fishing village, whose residents deliver tourists on their boats who arrived at the ferry station in the north of the island. Travel is possible only when the sea is relatively calm.
Boneté is surrounded by wild jungles and picturesque rocks. Silence, seclusion and magnificent scenery make this deserted place one of the most interesting tourist attractions of the island.
