Description:
The length of the beach is approximately 1800 meters. This is the most peaceful of all the major beaches of Ubatuba. The beach is located less than 10 kilometers from the center, from which it is separated by a narrow and long cape.
This beach in the 90s had a not too good reputation due to insufficient filtration of domestic wastewater located here village. However, then the state administration developed and implemented a large-scale environmental project, as a result of which a 100 percent wastewater treatment center was created. And now the entire eastern part of the beach is built up with hotels, restaurants and numerous shops and cafes.
Another proof of the purity of the beach is a huge number of sea turtles and fish, which can be admired even sitting near the shore.
