Rock Pedra Do Bau is a stone formation of gneiss rocks, part of a rock complex located in the mountains of Manticeira.
This rock is the main one in the whole complex. Its height is 1950 meters. The rock is widely known among professional climbers. In addition to sports climbing, another direction of ecotourism is developed here - paragliding. The most favorable time for climbing the rock is the period from May to September. For the first time, the ascent of the cliff was made by the Teixeira de Sousa brothers in 1940.
