White Water Falls

Illabella, São Paulo, Brazil

Description:

Waterfall "White Water" is located on the island of Illabel, in Sao Paulo. The place is one of the most popular and picturesque in the state.

The waterfall descends on a huge rock, equal to more than twenty meters in height, and forms a deep body of water. However, the Agua Branca that can be seen today is only part of what it used to be. In the 50s of the XX century, a hydroelectric power station was organized here, using the energy of the water flow as an energy source. A passageway to the station was also laid and a mill was created in which people working on the construction of the structure lived.

You can organize a visit to the picturesque waterfall by contacting a travel agency or any Kuyaba guide. The tour is worth visiting – on the site you can take chic photos, swim in the natural pool of Agua Branca and listen to the amazing story of the waterfall.
