Lazarus Segal Museum

Rua Berta, 111, Vila Mariana, Sã o Paulo, 01412-040, Brasil

About the company:

Lazar Segal is a famous Brazilian sculptor, painter and graphic artist, in whose honor the museum was founded in 1967. It was opened in Sao Paulo ten years after the death of Lazar Segal.

In the Lazar Segal Museum, as well as in the museums of Venice, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona, posthumous exhibitions were held, where the best works of the painter were presented.

The idea of establishing a museum complex in São Paulo belongs to the children of Segal, who wanted the whole world to know about the work of their father. Now everyone can come to São Paulo and visit the house of the famous creator, which was turned into a cultural center and museum. Every year it hosts exhibitions in which not only the works of Segal, but also many other artists and sculptors take part.

In addition to exhibition events, the center has an art school, which can enroll any local resident. Both children and adults can learn the basics of art here.
