Museum of Architecture and Crafts

The Museum of Architecture and Crafts is located in the historical center of the city of Czech Krumlov. The purpose of the museum is to capture the development of the city, its history of construction from the Middle Ages to the present day. The permanent exhibition introduces through photographic documentation and three-dimensional objects the architectural development of Chesky Krumlov, emphasizing the important elements and details inherent in different styles.

For groups of tourists, thematic excursions are held with a video presentation and a narrative story. You will learn how magnificent castles were built in the Middle Ages without the use of modern technology, learn architectural and craft secrets for decorating facades, window glass, forged doors and others.
