Garden colonnade

Dvo á kovy sady, 360 01 Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic

Description:

The garden colonnade was built in 1881 according to the project of two Viennese architects on the territory of the Bvorage Gardens. The territory of the colonnade, together with the healing springs located nearby, is a popular holiday destination among residents and tourists.

Previously, next to the colonnade was the Blanc Palace, but due to the destruction, most of it was demolished and now you can see only part of the architectural ensemble. The construction of the colonnade is a monument of cast-iron architecture of the XIX century, decorated with sculptures, and is a landmark not only of the Bvorazhkov Gardens, but also of the whole city.
