Becherovka plant

The plant for the production of a unique alcoholic beverage "Becherovka" is located in the resort town of Karlovy Vary. The sale of the drink with miraculous properties began in 1807. To this day, the plant that produces this amazing product has not changed its composition.

The production of Becherovka is a very interesting process: a mixture of more than 20 different herbs is poured into a bag of natural canvas and dipped in containers filled with alcohol. After a week, the bags are removed from alcohol, and the resulting liquid is poured into oak barrels, and, adding a little water and sugar, leave for two to three months. It is believed that the city of Karlovy Vary is the only place where this drink can be created. Several times attempts were made to repeat the recipe in another city, withstanding all the subtleties of production, but everything turned out, but not "Becherovka".

The factory has its own museum, where you can learn the history of the plant and taste an amazing drink.
