Karlovy Vary Airport KLV
Description:
Karlovy Vary International Airport is located in the Czech city of the same name. It is managed by Letiste Karlovy Vary and belongs to Karlovy Vary Krai. Currently, the airport is capable of receiving aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Airbus A321. Its passenger service exists only with Russia, transportation in Europe and within the Czech Republic is absent. As of December 2012, the following airlines make regular flights here: Russia, Aeroflot and Ural Airlines.
The length of the runway is 970 meters, and the width is 30 meters, which allows you to receive medium-sized aircraft. In 2015, it is planned to expand the total area of the airport, as well as the modernization of navigation equipment. Its technical base includes two passenger terminals, a large hangar and a new weather station. The airport infrastructure is developed at a sufficient level - there are restaurants, pharmacies, exchange offices, shops, hairdressers and two cozy waiting rooms equipped with a good warning system.
The capacity of Karlovy Vary International Airport today is 1,840 passengers per hour.
