Old Town Square

Old Town Square is cozy located on 15 thousand square meters in the historical center of Prague called Stare Mesto and surrounded itself with ancient houses made in various architectural styles, among which most often there are Gothic, Rocco, Renaissance, Baroque.

This square has been known since the 12th century, when it was an ordinary small market. Since then, it has changed its name several times. Now everyone knows it as Old Town Square. It is noteworthy that on this square there are Prague chimes - this is a huge tower clock, preserved to our times since the Middle Ages. Some parts of this clock were made in the distant 1410. Every hour, under the chimes, the clock plays a small puppet show.
