Kotor Bay + fashionable Porto Montenegro

Description:

One of the most beautiful bays of light – Kotor Bay – is actually a river that descended into the sea! These are not the southern fjords as the bay used to be. You will learn many more interesting facts during walking and car tour of ancient cities and the beauty of the Adriatic.

First, we will look at the ancient Kotor from all sides, because it is worth it. We will enter the main sea gate, and leave both the southern and northern ones, walk from the beginning to the end of the Artisan Street, visit the quarters of the rich and look into the ancient city temples. We will visit souvenir shops and the local market, where we hope to taste Negush prshut and cheese, noble olive oil, homemade rakia and wines.

In addition to the main objects, we will look into urban areas, where you can easily get lost or not reach them at all, getting lost on the road - they keep the true appearance and atmosphere of the city.

I will tell you where to go to get acquainted with the nightlife, where to taste the best dishes of Montenegrin cuisine.

After an hour and a half, having finished with Kotor, we will sit in a comfortable car and drive with a breeze along the coast of the bay to another remarkable town - Perast.

Located directly opposite the Verige Strait – the only entrance to the huge Kotor-Risan Bay, the city has always flourished and even in the most difficult times managed to fight and trade at the same time.

"City of a hundred captains and a hundred ships" - so called Perast, where the Russian Tsar Peter sent I to train future captains and shipbuilders. Famous personalities of local history are firmly connected with Russia and you will learn about this in detail.

An adventure awaits you - we sail on a boat to the island of the Virgin on the reef, from where a picturesque view of Perast itself opens. The main attraction of the island is a functioning cherished temple of sailors with unique collections of silver coinage and a unique icon embroidered with gray hair of the author - a Perastka woman who waited 25 years for her husband from swimming.

Then we will briefly look into the city of Risan, where we will visit a photogenic ancient street and see Roman mosaics - the remains of the ancient villa "vila urbana" 2-4 centuries AD (Roman times).

We will round the bay along the coast by car to the narrow isthmus between the Kotor and Tivat bays, to swim by ferry to the city of Tivat. This is another unforgettable sea trip along the route.

Slowly strolling along Tivat, we will get to the area of Porto Montenegro - a town of rich and yachtsmen, whose chic ships adorn immediately, moored at the marble embankment. This area is called the face of Tivat, and I will tell you about the past of the “shining” area. The facts and legends of Tivat will add up when you feel like a part of his life: stroll through modern streets, look into the courtyard of the oldest tower of the city - the family nest of the Venetian rich, and in the Yugoslav submarine - now a museum. And, of course, find out where you can taste the most delicious coffee and buy healthy products.

This is an individual or group tour in Russian. A group of 4, 5 or 10 people.

Who will do this tour? Those who want to have time to see all the most interesting things in Kotor and Tivat and decide where to go on their own, as well as clarify questions with a guide (guide).
