Waterfalls of Montenegro

At 8 am I will pick you up at the apartment or hotel and we will go on a trip to the picturesque places of Montenegro to admire the waterfalls.

The excursion is seasonal, as the waterfalls are full in autumn, winter and spring, sometimes in early summer.

On our route lies the stunning photogenic Skadar Lake, where we will stop for a photo-pause in a panoramic place.

We will visit the man-made Niagara Falls, whose popularity is growing every year with both tourists and locals.

Podgorians (residents of the capital of Montenegro) love to spend their free time here and the weekend, come here with whole families. You can observe the lifestyle of the local people. Along the way, I will tell you about the life and habits of Montenegrins, local culture, traditional lifestyle and values.

Depending on the time of year, you’ll see one or more waterfalls whose emerald cascades allow you to take vivid photos. On full days along the canyon of the river stretches many waterfalls, and its bright saturated color the river does not change even in winter and in cloudy weather.

The next stop is a small mountain waterfall where you can swim in the summer. This cozy natural place is suitable for romantic couples and families with children. Near the waterfall there is also a restaurant specializing in local trout: it is bred right here on the farm. The hospitable host here has a mini-menagerie that young tourists love.

If you are connoisseurs of seafood, you will visit the farm of mussels and oysters in the Bay of Kotor, where you can see how they are grown, and you can taste freshly prepared ones. There, if you wish, you can buy homemade wine, learn about the secrets of taste.
