Promenade Bara

The embankment of Bar is a favorite place of rest for Montenegrins and tourists. The wide, long and picturesque street begins at the seaport (the largest in Montenegro, from here there is a ferry to the Italian city of Bari) and ends somewhere in the area of Shushani, a nearby resort village, drowning in the greenery of Mediterranean pine trees.

There are many inexpensive cafes where you can not just have a snack, but have a full lunch. At the height of the tourist season, it is here that numerous tourists can enjoy a variety of excursions and other entertainment. Vacationers can use the services of boat rental, catamarans and pleasure boats.

The most significant attractions of the Bar embankment are the largest seaport of Montenegro and the palace of King Nikola with a whole palace complex and park, where the smell of the sea is mixed with the sweet aroma of flowering trees.
