Dubrovnik
Description:
Dubrovnik is located in neighboring Croatia, about 2 hours from Budva.
Dubrovnik is an ancient city with a rich history.
Beginning in the Middle Ages, the city’s prosperity was based on maritime trade and allowed it to become the only city-state in the eastern Adriatic to rival Venice. Generations of the past have left a stunning architectural heritage in Dubrovnik, which, combined with the beauty of the local nature, has led to the city being called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”.
Our tour will start right from the gate to the old town. We will walk along the famous Stradun Street dividing Dubrovnik into two halves - before there was a strait, and in the 14th century, the canal was covered with earth, past the Onofrio Fountain and the Orlando Column.
The city tour includes a visit to the Franciscan Monastery and one of Europe’s oldest pharmacies. During the walk you will get acquainted with the history of the city and its main attractions.
After the tour you will have time for an independent walk through the streets and squares of the Old Town. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee in the square in front of St. Vlaha Church. You will have pleasant impressions from our tour.
A standard tour of Sarm city lasts 2 hours. Depending on how much time after that you want to walk around Dubrovnik, we agree on additional free time.
The tour is conducted with the involvement of an experienced and licensed local Croatian guide. This does not affect the total cost.
