Individual excursions in Montenegro

Description:

Dubrovnik is the Pearl of the Adriatic!
The city was founded in the 7th century and got its name from the oak forests growing around. Throughout its history, it was under the rule of Byzantium, was an independent Dubrovnik Republic, then belonged to Turkey, Austria, Yugoslavia. Most of the houses in the city were built in the 12th century and have retained their original appearance.
Few people know that it was here that such a toilet item – like a tie – appeared and got its name. In Russian from German Halstuch (neck scarf), and in Ukrainian - a cot, in Serbian - Croatian, French - cravate. From "Croat." When Napoleon's General Mormon entered the city, the French saw neck scarves on the Croatian soldiers, they poked their fingers and asked: "What is this?", and the Croats thought they were interested in "Who are you?" and answered: "Croat". So fashionists - the French still call a tie - cravate.

This excursion lasts all day from 9 am to 18.00 pm. And of course, do not forget your passport with a Schengen or Croatian visa. On the way we will pass the whole Boko-Kotor Bay, the city of Herceg Novi, Igalo, we will cross by ferry.

In Dubrovnik we will visit the Cathedral of St. Vlach (the patron of the city), the Franciscan monastery and the oldest pharmacy in Europe, the Dominican Monastery, walk along the central street of the city "Stradun".

Then we'll take a boat to the nearby Cavtat. The town is small, but older than Dubrovnik, it was the residents of Epidaurs (Cavtat) who founded a settlement on the island of Ragusa, later Dubrovnik.

In the afternoon we will go back and in 2-2.5 hours we will be in Montenegro.
I went on a tour to Dubrovnik hundreds of times, there is always a difference between cozy, comfortable Montenegro and European, Catholic, pretentious Croatia.

I can get a visa to Croatia in 24 hours.
