Nikola Djurkovic Square

Nikola Djurkovic Square is one of the main squares of the city. It is located in front of the entrance to the ancient city, but even in the people it was called “the square with the clock”. On the perimeter of the square is a huge variety of cafes and restaurants, the doors of which are open until late at night. There is also the main bank of the city and many administrative buildings.

Also on the square there is a huge number of ancient buildings imbued with the spirit of history. Thus, we can safely say that the square is a historical center that reflects the ancient history of the city. On weekends and holidays, concerts and entertainment events are held here. On weekdays, as a rule, the square is filled with a large number of tourists and local youth who want to stroll through the quiet secluded streets.
