St. John's. ozana

The Church of St. Ozana, or the Church of St. Mary from the river, is located in the northeastern part of the city lake of Kotor, in front of the northern city gate.

The present church was built in 1221. It has repeatedly undergone changes and restructuring from the north. In the XIV century, the church was richly decorated with frescoes, from which only fragments have survived to this day. The church contains wooden crucifixes from the XIV century, two altars of colorful Baroque marble and several paintings of Venetian origin.
