Drago Palace stands on St. Tryphon Square in Kotor. This is the palace of the famous Drago dynasty.
It is one of the largest palaces in the city. It was built in the XII century, and it combines relief elements of Gothic and rich baroque patterns. This happened because of the earthquake of 1667, when the restoration of the palace was made in the then fashionable Baroque style.
Currently, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments is located in the Drago Palace.
